Project Overview

GAAMHA is an expansive organization in northern Worcester County that aids the community with a wide variety of human services. In early 2024, they came to us in need of a holistic strategy to both clarify and unify their far-reaching brand.

We undertook an intense process of research, workshops, and design to build a new brand strategy. Our results will help GAAMHA streamline their communications and reach more people who need their help in the community.

Our Brand Strategy process always begins with a deep dive into the world that our client's brand is and will be living in. We familiarized ourselves with the human services space in Massachusetts and beyond to gain an understanding of what brands do well and where they fall short.

Conversations with stakeholders within and outside GAAMHA helped us learn how the organization goes above and beyond to help people in their community. GAAMHA reaches a wide range of people with substance use resources, day services, and transportation provisions.

With research complete, we ran a series of Brand Strategy workshops with GAAMHA leadership to facilitate discussion about the organization and collaborate on strategic decisions.

Our workshops resulted in a new strategy that realigns the brand position, architecture, and messaging with the organization's trajectory.

We used this brand strategy to craft Messaging guides that GAAMHA will use to maintain cohesion and clarity as they continue to grow. Our efforts will continue into 2025 to further bolster the brand using our strategy conclusions.
